This holiday season be spirited away for an afternoon of dazzle and delight. Sahara’s Treasure hosts Arabian Lights, a Bellydance gala for the benefit of charity. So while the cold winter winds swirl ‘round the snow come inside for the warm food and company, and be enchanted by some of the most renowned dance artists in the area.

Arabian Lights is a holiday themed gala hosted every other year by Sahara’s Treasure.

The last Arabian Lights was held on Sunday, December 6th 2009 in the Grand Ballroom of the Golden Bull in Gaithersburg.

Through the dedicated efforts of their volunteers, performing artists, and devoted fans Sahara’s Treasure raised approximately $1100 for the Dwelling Place in Gaithersburg.

The show featured sparkling performances from Nadirah Nasreen, Jaka, Nimeera, Amustela, Shadiyah,  and Zaira al Zahara.

The next Arabian Lights will take place in a coming holiday season soon.
